Kevin：Yes,I agree. I have been to Italy,it is hard to say no to all the delicious temptations.It seems that every coffee bar or pasticceria has an endless display of cookies,chocolates or some other enticement.

Simon：That's true enough. There are many types of Italian desserts to choose,several sweet treats stand out.Cookies,biscotti,panforte,Milano's panetton,cannoli,and baci are all delicious Italian pastries,desserts and cakes.

Kevin：What's your favorite Italian dessert,anyway?

Simon：Cannoli is definitely my favorite kind. The cannoli is the most famous one of the Sicilian desserts and can be found in every Italian pasticceria.This dessert is made by filling a hollow pastry shell with fresh ricotta.

Kevin：I hear that this dessert is very popular all over the world.

Simon：At one time,cannoli was a gift given amongst friends during Carnevale,but now has since gained worldwide recognition and numerous delicious variations.
