A:We'd better call Lily and tell her that we're running late. We don't seem to be able to get registered on time for the conference tonight.

A:我们比较好给莉莉挂个电话，告诉她我们要迟到了。看来今天晚上的会议我们不能准时报到了。

B:Just running late? That's a huge understatement. We just missed our boat and then perhaps would miss the conference, too!

A:Try to stay calm! Things aren't as bad as they seem.

B:Our suitcases are all on the boat!

A:I know. But at least we still have our passports and all of our money with us.

B:But we don't have any clean clothes and all of the documents for the conference are in the suitcase. Plus, how can we get out of this small town?
