Personally, I would like to play group sports, like basketball, football, and even baseball. Cuz there are actually lots of benefits, to begin with, one can socialize with their peers and make new friends. It really feels awesome.

I would prefer to do exercise and go to the gym everyday, coz I am really into workout. I usually go there with my friends and jogging, swimming, dancing and weight lifting are all my favorites. Actually work out is not only a way for me to keep healthy, but also to regain my composure and strength after heavy sweating in the gym; however, the truth is I don't have sufficient time to hang around there each day, coz I am really busy, always bombarded with various examinations, papers, presentations, club activities etc; so for me, if I can go there like twice or three times a week, I am already satisfied.

Well,I prefer to take exercise when I have free time. Because first of all, I am very busy studying all kinds of courses. I want to strengthen my body but I really have no regular time for it. So working out when I am free becomes the only choice when it comes to the issue of exercise. Second, some sports field like swimming pool , tennis court and so on are not available everyday, we can only choose several days a week to do the sports. Besides, playing sports too frequently makes people tired easily, I think exercising three times a week and one hour per time is enough and better.

慢跑(jogging)风靡西方

在西方国家的大街小巷,我们经常可以看到“jogger”(慢跑者)的身影,他们大多数是些中老年人。不过现在,越来越多的年轻人也加入到了慢跑者的行列。

人们慢跑的主要目的有二:其一是锻炼身体,其二就是防止发胖。“jogging"已经成为如今的时尚话题。

很多医生说,慢跑不仅仅有趣,而且对心脏、肺、肌肉甚至脚都大有益处。慢跑锻炼是人们最容易采用的一种身体锻炼方式,这主要是因为慢跑在技术上要求简单,无需特殊的场地、服装或器械。无论在运动场上或在马路边、田野间、树林中均可进行慢跑锻炼。个人可以自己掌握跑步的速度、距离和路线。

通常慢跑锻炼是在清晨或傍晚,沿着公路或在野外环境下进行,这样可以进行空气浴,也可以使大脑得到休息。对于青少年,保持经常慢跑的习惯,可以使他们的精神得以调节,也使他们在学习及社会活动中更加精力充沛、朝气蓬勃。

一般情况下,慢跑锻炼是匀速的,时间持续在20分钟以上。通常这种方式的锻炼,可以消耗体内多余的脂肪,使肌肉及心肺的耐力性工作能力得以提高。此外,这种方式的中、长跑也是磨练毅力的一种方式,如果青少年坚持长期慢跑锻炼,就能有助于他们培养出坚韧的耐力和毅力。
