雅思写作中对图表的描写

第一部分常见的修饰语有：moderately. steadily, dramatically, radically. substantially,significantly. a即roximately.

2.图表描写的例子例

1The graph shows the declining trend of number of countries reporting AIDS from 1999 to2001.

The year 1999 is considered as the base year. In that year the AIDS cases wereapproximately 40,000. From that year on. until 2001 there was a rise.

In 2000. 90马traffic accidents took place in that country: Of them, 80% were caused bythe drivers' carelessness. 30% by the poor road conditions, 20% by weather. especially bythe big snow in winter.

From the graph, we can conclude that careless driving is the leading cause of the trafficaccidents.

In the five-year period （1996一2000）， we can see the number of students. doing part-time job increased rapidly.

第一部分对图表的描写重点是掌握对数据及其变化进行的描写，一般都是客观的描述。

但也要注意语言，如英语时态。说以前的情况，说一般的情况或谈将来的可能性，都应分别对待。例如：From 1960 to 1980. the smokers percentage of population was high. as we can seefrom the bar charts above. But now in the year 2002, the number of smokers is very small.去看看：雅思文章写四段好还是五段好？
