A:Hello,Mr. Washington,I am very glad that you come to our company.

A:你好,华盛顿先生,很高兴你能来我们公司。

B:It is a greatpleasure to meet you again,Mr Zhang.

B:张先生,能再次见到你我也感到非常荣幸。

A:Take a seat,please.Would you like a cup of tea?

A:请坐,喝杯茶?

B:Yeah. Thank you.It seems your company has developed quickly during the past year.

B:好,谢谢。看起来你们公司在过去的一年里发展很快。

A:Yes,not too bad. Our sales are increasing year after year,and we still have a large potential production capacity.

B:Well,have you thought about choosing a commission representative or agent abroad to help you promote your oversea sales?

A:In fact we have already had several agents in Europe and North America.

B:Then,what’s your usual commission rate for your agents?

You see,we have a lot of complicated as well as trivial work to do in order to promote the sales,such as making advertisements on all kinds of media,such as radio,TV,magazines,newspapers and the internet.Besides,we have to print booklets,leaflets,catalogues and so on.All of them need money.2%is far from enough.

A:Don’t worry about that. We’ll pay for that part of the cost and we will also give you a higher commission rate if your sales reach a certain level.

B:You mean……

A:Now,if you sell US$500 thousand worth of our commodity annually,we can only give you a twopercent commission.However,if the annual sales exceeds that,you can get 3%commission.What do you think of that?

B:It sounds OK. Then how do you pay the commission?
