Hank：Hey. Charlie.Since you were born in Paris,may I ask what a traditional French breakfast is?

Charlie：Well,French breakfast is kind of light. For breakfast we eat various breads and drink coffee.

Hank：What a surprise!I thought you eat the same thing as the British,like sausage,ham,eggs and bacon.

Charlie：Actually,a traditional French breakfast is not as heavy as other European breakfast meals.

Hank：What's the detail?

Charlie：On a regular day,people eat slices of French bread served with jam or butter. The breads include baguette,bread rolls with chocolate filling and freshly-baked croissants.Croissants are often eaten plain,with jam,or dipped in coffee bowls.However,if you want to be truly French,never eat a croissant with butter,because French people never do that.

Hank：What about the drink?

Charlie：To go with bread,French people usually drink coffee in the morning,and children are allowed to drink hot chocolate or fruit juice instead.

Hank：That's it?

Charlie：Well,sometimes we eat some fruits or yogurt,too.
